Brushless auger with LXT® battery for drilling holes in the ground
The DDG460 is a powerful and lightweight brushless auger for drilling holes in the ground. Equipped with option for 2 speeds (0 - 350 min-1 & 0 - 1400 min¯¹) and reverse. The maximum fastening torque is (high/low) 48 / 136 Nm. Dual LED lights for illuminating the work area. Only the tool, batteries and charger are not included.

Drilling holes in the ground has never been easier! Makita's new DDG460 soil drill is a powerful and lightweight (8.2 kg with 2 x BL1860B 6 Ah batteries) tool for drilling in the ground. The brushless motor delivers up to 1400 rpm, the speed can be selected in two settings, 0 - 350 and 0 - 1400 rpm, plus a reverse switch to release a stuck drill. With drill Ø150 mm and fully charged BL1860B (6.0 Ah) batteries, the DDG460 can drill about 155 holes with a depth of 600 mm and with drill Ø200 mm about 90 holes with a depth of 600 mm.For optimal operation, the DDG460 is equipped with ADT (Automatic torque Drive Technology) that automatically adjusts the drilling speed depending on the load. The tool also has a torque limiter that activates when a certain torque is reached at low speed. When this level is reached, the drill stops rotating.Dual LED light illuminates the work area so that working is possible even in the dark!
